Launch the Onyaku app.

Tap "Login".

Proceed by selecting a login method.
【If logging in with an "Onyaku" ID and password】
Tap the "Login with Onyaku account" button, enter your email address (ID) and password, and tap the [Login] button.
If you are logging into the account for the first time, click the "Forgot your password?" link, enter and submit your "User ID", and a temporary password will be sent to you via email.
After logging in with the temporary password, please change your password from the account screen.Please check this page for how to change your password.
【If logging in with a "Microsoft" account (Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD))】
A screen to join with a Microsoft workplace account will be displayed. Enter your Microsoft workplace account and password and sign in.

Only contracts with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) authentication are eligible.
Do not select if your contract is with an Onyaku account.
(However, in a Microsoft 365 environment, even those with contracts via Onyaku accounts can log in with a Microsoft account, but this may cause authentication errors.
- If you are already logged in, this screen may be skipped.

Create a new chat room
Create a new chat room and enable the microphone to use Onyaku.
- Tap [Create].
- Select "Your language (the language you speak)", enter a "Display name", and tap [Start Chat].
- Tap the mute button (light teal slash microphone icon) in the upper right corner, and when the microphone becomes available (dark teal microphone), transcription will begin.

Join an existing chat room
Users with the same contract license as the room creator (host) can join the same chat room by entering a shared code.

【Host side】Copy the "Code: ○○○○" part in the upper left corner of the newly created chat room screen.

【Host side】Share the code with the other party using a web conference tool chat, etc.

【Participant side】Log in to Onyaku, enter the shared code in "Code", and tap [Join].

【Participant side】Select "Your language (the language you speak)" & enter a "Display name", then tap [Start Chat].

【Host side, Participant side】Confirm that "You have joined the chat room" is displayed as follows.
- To transcribe and translate, click the mute button (blue slash microphone) in the upper right corner and make the microphone available (lime green microphone).

Type text directly
In the chat room, you can use text input as well as voice recognition for speech.
- Create a new chat room or join an existing room.
- Click [T] at the bottom right of the chat room screen.

Enter text in the window that appears and click [Send].
The text you entered will be reflected in the chat room.

Download the conversation content as a CSV file
You can download the chat room speech and translated conversation history as a CSV file.

Be sure to download the CSV file of the conversation history before closing the chat room.After closing the chat room (after leaving), you cannot download the CSV file.
- If you are participating as a guest user, you cannot download the CSV file.
- In the chat room, tap [Menu (≡)] in the upper right corner of the screen.

Tap [Download History].
- Select either "UTF-8 for Windows," "For Windows," or "General UTF-8."
- From the menu displayed on your device, you can save or share the file.

Check the cumulative usage time.
Each user can check their own cumulative usage time.
- Log in to Onyaku and tap the person icon in the upper left.
- Tap "Account.

Tap "Each user's usage" to check your cumulative usage time.
