How to switch microphones

Points to note for switching microphones
Make sure that the microphone to be used is rightly connected to the PC before activating ONYAKU.
You can not switch to another microphone after activating ONYAKU.
If you need to switch to another microphone after activation of ONYAKU, log out ONYAKU, switch microphones, and then reboot ONYAKU.

1. Create a chat room or join a chat room created by others.
   
   
2. Click [Mute] button (a blue pictograph of microphone with a slant line over it) in the upper right corner to unmute your microphone (the icon will be displayed in yellow green).
   
   • If you get the dialogue window as shown below, click [Allow].
     
     
     
3. Click [Menu icon (≡) in the upper left corner.
   
   
   
4. The menu screen will be displayed on the left.
   Click-open the dropdown list under [Please select your audio device], and select a microphone you want to use.
   
   
   
   
5. After the microphone selection, click again [Mute] button (a blue pictograph of microphone with a slant line over it) in the upper right corner to unmute your microphone (the icon will be displayed in yellow green).
   
   
6. Confirm that ONYAKU is adequately doing speech-to-text transcription using the selected microphone.
